Wondering what's involved in getting a crown? We keep the process simple, safe and affordable. A crown normally involves two visits to our office. We start with a fitting. We will also remove decay, shape the tooth, and fit it with a temporary crown of either plastic or metal. We will also take an impression. We will send that impression to the lab for fabrication of your crown.
On the next visit, we will remove the temporary crown and then fit and adjust the final crown. Once the crown is adjusted, we will cement the crown into place. Then you will have a great looking and functional new tooth!
